About Thyme In the Garden
Our family-run business is a unique garden and gift shop that serves our customers with a passion for sharing horticultural knowledge as well as creating beauty around every nook. A wide range of indoor tropical plants are available along with beautiful array of pottery for planting. The gift shop is a local favorite for all special occasions; if a plant or potted arrangement is not in order, you’ll find a variety of gifts including local and fairly traded items. Favorites include candles, notecards, table linens, concrete statuary. During the spring and autumn months, we also carry perennials, annuals & herbs and specialize in outdoor container gardening. Be sure to browse during the holidays for decor and beautiful seasonal plants.

The very best garden shop in WNC!! Everything a gardener needs for their home - inside and out!! The most knowledgeable staff/owners who truly love to help with gardening needs. I’d give a million stars!

Just visited this lovely garden shop on Sunday to get some new flowers for my window box. You can’t tell from the road, but there’s a great selection of outdoor plants out back down the beautifully landscaped slope. The staff were so friendly and helpful. They said there was less inventory since they are slowing down for summer season, but I thought the selection was still great and I found exactly what I was looking for! This will be my go-to plant store for sure.

I love this garden shop! The staff is always helpful and their prices are very reasonable. I'm in there every couple of weeks looking around or buying something.

Delightful find! We very much enjoyed our visit to this garden shop. Great customer service and lots of fun gift items. We found Seed & Sky jewelry here, the widest selection in town.
